Douglas R. Miller, CIC, CPIA –
President & Agency Principal
Douglas Miller grew up in New Braunfels and has been here since 1955. He understands the people of the community and surrounding areas. He has served as the Mayor of New Braunfels and has close community ties with the banking community, the Chamber of Commerce and numerous groups in and around the community. He is currently the Chair of the Board of the Edwards Aquifer Authority, is past Chair of the Board of The Greater New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce, has served as President of the Wurstfest Association, President of the Comal County Fair Association, and Chairman of the Comal County United Way.
Douglas began his insurance career thirty years ago and has been an agency owner for the past 24 years. Doug has his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) license which signifies the highest level of property and casualty insurance expertise. This license requires continuing education. Doug has sold many accounts in the community including schools, the Chamber, many non-profit organizations, as well as commercial businesses.
Anne Miller -
Customer Relations Director
Anne Miller grew up in New Braunfels also where she graduated from New Braunfels High School and attended Southwest Texas State University (Texas State). Over the past several years, Anne has taken a greater role in the business, as Customer Relations Director. Anne ensures that every customer is respected and treated with a warm family feeling. If a customer relations issue arises, Anne takes care of the issue. Anne is a respected business person in the community and performs many duties for the agency, including public relations. Anne is a Graduate of Leadership New Braunfels, an active Blue Coat in the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce, on the Board of the New Braunfels ISD Education Foundation, and a former Board Member of NBISD.

Sales Associate & Commercial Lines Team Leader
Douglas Miller II grew up in New Braunfels where he graduated from New Braunfels High School and attended Angelo State University with a Bachelors Degree in Science. Upon graduation, Douglas joined the family business to start his career in the insurance industry. Douglas is a Graduate of the Hartford School of Insurance, the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas Producer School, and a recent Graduate of Leadership New Braunfels. Doug has become an accomplished sales professional and is currently managing the commercial lines department along with his duties as a sales professional. Doug is kept busy with the dual role while he continues to increase his knowledge in the industry. Douglas is an active member in The New Braunfels Rotary Club, The Wurstfest Association, The Comal County Fair Association, The New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce, and The Comal County Senior Citizens Advisory Board. Douglas works hard everyday to see that the customers of Miller & Miller are given the highest customer satisfaction with the most efficient customer service.
Greg Uhlig
Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer
Greg Uhlig grew up in Poth and has lived in New Braunfels since 1999. He attended Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos and earned a BBA degree in Accounting. Greg obtained his CPA designation in 1981 and received his Masters of Business Administration from The University of Texas in 1989. He worked for Valero Energy and was Controller/EVP of a large homebuilding company with revenues of $360,000,000 with operations in Houston, DFW, San Antonio, Austin, Atlanta, Nashville, and Oklahoma City. He taught at The University of Texas at Austin and served as the COO/EVP of one of the largest insurance agencies in Texas with branches in Austin, Houston, Arlington, and San Antonio. He also was COO of a custom manufacturing operation and served as Director of Finance for an employee benefits outsourcer that provided services to 46 Fortune 1000 companies prior to joining Miller & Miller.
Pat Timmermann, ACSR –
Personal Lines Team Leader
Pat started her insurance career with Miller & Miller in 1997. She has worked in customer sales & service for the past 20 years. Pat is team leader for the personal lines department where she can help with insurance on your home, auto, umbrella, valuable items, boat, motorcycle or jet skis.
Jennifer Carr –
Life & Health Team Leader
Jennifer came to the Miller & Miller team in 2006 bringing with her 15 years of customer service experience. Jennifer’s focus is on service for all of Miller & Miller's life & health clients, while providing sales support, leadership & marketing for the department.
Jessica Rosas –
Service Supervisor & IT
Jessica started her insurance career with Miller & Miller in 1998. In the past, she has worked with the non-standard auto customers & accounting. She now supervises the Seguin & the Universal City offices. Jessica is also responsible for all Agency IT.
Jerry Stringer -
Sales Associate
Jerry brings with him 30 years of experience in the life insurance business to Miller & Miller. During this time, Jerry has been a successful agent specializing in estate & business continuation planning. He has owned his own agency, as well as, serving as a marketing Vice-President in 2 home offices. Additionally, he is in the process of completing his CLU (Charted Life Underwriter) designation. Jerry is also very active in the New Braunfels community, both in his church and with Habitat for Humanity.
